Just sat here thinking that most of the bikes I own never get a mention, but that's because they are all old. Anyway I thought it would be fun to post up your current collection & then see how many others have one or more of the same bike/s (thus bumping you down the league).
So I'll start, but the first funny bugger to say they have the same gets it! 😉
Azonic propulsion (2003/4) Only ever heard about one other on here 😐
Pipedream Ti triple butted thingy from about 2005, seen a few on here, not many though.
On-One scandle 29er, the original geared one, never heard of another obviously 🙄
So what you got?
Cheers.
Cotic Bfe 853 medium in orange, apparently only 3 were made in this size and colour.
Planet X carbon road bike. I bet theres loads of these out there, Ive never seen another on the roads though.
2005 Fly Pantera bmx. Probably not many about now cos its an old frame.
853 Inbred. Not as many around as there were 3.5 years ago when 100 were made. 🙂
Oh, and it's been resprayed orange from the original sky blue and has had a chainstay replaced and modified after chainsuck 'issues'
So it's utterly unique..... 8)
Kobe Ti - 50 I think? common here on STW though
Duster - ten a penny
Benotto fixed - one of a kind, maybe not a good thing
Planet X SL - common, but super ace
Onza fixed - just my getting to work bike
Townsend Mango Creek fixed - truly, truly unique. I rode it at centerparcs a few weeks ago and people were stopping and laughing.
Edit - just remembered the Brompton. More ugly than uncommon.
My main bikes are only really 'exclusive' due to their size.
21" 29er Inbred
22" Salsa Big Mama
23" Rockhopper 29er
24" Salsa Fargo
Ignoring the Inbred, i'm yet to see one of my other bikes out on the trail although i know of a few that are knocking around on here.
specialized stumpjumper carbon expert - 1 of a kind 🙄
Turner 5 spot - very very very rare to see
Planet x carbon pro sl - everyone and his missus has one
Felt AR3 - alot around i believe
Airbourne Lucky strike titanium - there getting fewer and fewer
Nicolai Helius CC (used to be unheard of, now everyone seems to have one!)
Kona Sutra (it's weird but I like it)
Lemond road bike of some description I can't remember - it's red and black (with a broken wheel)
Santa Cruz VP-Free (and not prepared to ride it now with my prolapsed disc)
Brompton (purple haze and not well like on here, I think...)
Remind me never to mention on here where I live!!!
Rachel
Orbea Alma (not too rare here)
Pipedream Sirius (quite rare here)
GT Avalanche (1998)
Ribble Road bike (Components moved over from a Dave Quinn custom frame)
Cannondale prophet-common as muck
853 sliding dropout inbred-1 of a hundred
Pashley Tube Rider-only ever seen a couple of others
usual 4 bikes in use...then theres this lot for starters...
Cannondale 99 Uber V- 6" travel super v
Cannondale 96 killer V
Cannondale 95 super V frameset and headshock

i only own 2 bikes now.......... 🙁

Marin County, Cali
Breezer #2, 1978
The second of only ten made.
1978 photo
actually changed my mind, no nice bikes here, all apollo's so no need for any tealeaves to come and hunt for nice bikes. It's a bit of bike thieves dream a thread like this 😯
Current fleet is:
Cotic BFe
Cotic Soul
Cotic Roadrat
2004 Specialized S-Works Enduro
2004 Specialized Enduro SX
2003 Specialized Epic
On-One Inbred
Van Nicholas Zion
Dave Hinde M3
Nothing particularily exotic by STW standards.
I have two Bontragers, although the race is dead, and the Privateer needs some cables.
A Trek Top Fuel too jey core for most so far less common than the Fuel Ex
And a Lemond Croix de Fer Road bike, which was a warranty replacement when my Tourmalet snapped. The bike was never imported into the UK so i doubt more than a handful exist here.
'95 Klein Pulse
'96 Klein Attitude
anyone out there still ride rigid Kleins?
Giant and a Boardman - as common as I am
Not showing off or anything, but my collection is reasonably 'exclusive' it has to be said...
Retro
1994 Ibis Mojo
1997 Ibis Szazbo
1999 Ibis Bow-ti
Land Shark softail (Reynolds 853)
and arriving next year (all on order 🙂 )...
2011 Ibis Mojo HD
2011 Indy Fab Ti Crown Jewel (custom)
2011 Indy Fab Ti Delux (custom)
That'll do me
EDIT: Repack Rider wins all though... damn he's cool! 8)
Turner Flux
On One Ti456 mk2 prototype (only 2 exist)
Cannondale XTJ cross bike
Ragley Blue Pig
Zion 661 (never seen another of these)
Duster ss - done to my taste, chrome frame, and lots of red and carbon...
and um a merida waiting to be disguised in a similar way.... 😳 maybe in blue or orange rather than the chrome..
oh and a 94' stumpy converted to rigid ss..!
2009 Cotic Soda. Not hugely rare.
2008 Kinesis Crosslight Pro5. Not rare.
2009 Specialized Globe 1 San Francisco. Rare on here if not globally (see what I did there?)
Psychle did you win that £113 Euromillions?
Psychie wins! (so far)
MOST of my bikes are a bit quirky, I still have an original Stiffee, a Turner Burner & a first repro Burner BMX in the loft, one day they will be worth money 🙂
2003 Titus Switchblade - I doubt there are many in the UK
Saracen Kili Racer in magnesium - one of the few left not cracked if the comments on here are anything to go by 🙂
first ever Ventana X5, #1, handmade by mr ventana himself, pretty proud of this 🙂
fit S3.5, reasonably rare, pretty old though
I think Repack Rider wins, 2unfit. You don't get more exclusive (or I guess valuable) than that. The you did say exclusive rather than biggest or most expensive (or ugliest ). Not that I'd turn my nose up at any of them psychle.
Not very exclusive but I never see anyone mentioning DMR Trailstars.
giant trance-x with rev's/hope hoops/slx etc.
mass produced and not niche but i like it that way as it's a great bike to ride.
condor pista fixed, nice bits on it but no longer as exclusive as they once were, still gets admiring glances/comments.
Pegoretti duende. quite rare and one off paintjob by Dario himself, a long waiting list for one of these and my favorite bike.
dialled love/hate as yet unbuilt but looking forward to riding one again. SS is mainstream now 🙂
mercian fixed in 531sl awaiting restoration and fancy paintjob. not that rare but will be unique when restored.

I never noticed the picture was actually a link, I assumed it was some kind of p155take, but yes, I guess so if he has all of those bikes, it would be a very special collection!
Yeti 575 - fairly common
On one 456 - nuff said
Colnago c40 - rare~ish I guess.
Ritchey P20 - I've seen 2 more and one of them is dead
Mmm, just replaced an ubiquitous Soul with an also fairly ubiquitous Mmmbop. And my Hemlock would qualify as fairly uncommon elsewhere but not on this forum.
I doubt anyone else on this forum has a 1991 Carrera Krakatoa Flex though eh? Actually my 2008 Carrera Kraken is probably pretty stw-rare too. Join me in the Halfords niche.
orange 5 what do I win ?
rest are rarer but none are that uncommon
In order of common-ness:
2010 Focus Cayo 105
1998 Trek 7000
2007 Kinesis Maxlight XC Pro2
2006 Titus Motolite (I know a few enlightened fellow owners)
2005 Titus Racer X (I see very few of these)
Repack Rider clearly has THE most exclusive bike - do you still ride it?
Turner RFX
Cove Stiffee
Ribble Ribbelle
Mercian 531 Professional
Colnago c40 - rare~ish I guess.
built in their thousands.
for me exclusivity is more about the set-up rather than how few of them you see out and about.
eg. my DH bike has one of the most common you frames you could find but it's been set-up lower and slacker than stock since way before slack cups were available to buy, runs a custom 7speed cassette and I designed a custom shock/frame fender that stops mud collecting in the linkage/shock area, but even without any of those mods it's set-up for me and no-one else and I'm pretty sure many other riders the same hight/size as me wouldn't get on with it.
On-one sliding dropout 29er
Decathlon Rockrider 6.3
Kinesis crosslight 4t
SS Trek District Belt Drive
Townsend Road bike
SS Dahon 3
3spd Dahon 3
another 3 Spd dahon 3
SMART Folding Bike
MBK Ranger HI Tech
Sinclair A-Bike (clone)
Shogun Chokuto (BMX)
Two Inbreds, two Pompinos, and a Kaffenback.
So pretty exclusive inasmuch as they're all from the same stable... 8)
Having chopped and changed over the years from both ends of the scale, my garage currently contains a mountain, road and CX bike - and all common as muck, (though the first two are builds as opposed to stock).
So... a very un-exclusive collection comprising an Anthem X, S-Works Roubaix and Genesis Vapour.
And they're brilliant, and it's staying that way for a fair bit too (famous last words!)
Feels weird not having an On One in the shed at the moment though.
RE:
plop_pants - Member'95 Klein Pulse
'96 Klein Attitudeanyone out there still ride rigid Kleins?
It wasn't very long ago that we took a fully rigid Pinnacle around Chapel Gate and Hollins Cross. It did draw blood though... 🙂 Really wish I'd not sold that one...
Voodoo Canzo 09 with lots of upgrades
Setavento Ti (06/07 I think) - haven't seen another
Superlight 06 XL - it's the sizing that makes it a rarity, but at a touch over 6' a standard Large is not big enough. Santas are obviously made for hobbits.
We should have a swap shop style thread
One my beik iz Sarcin.
My most 'exclusive' is my little Rossin road bike I spose.
I only own bikes that MBUK, MBR, What Mountainbike recomend as i'm unable to know what i want without someone telling me.
Is true? You make yourself?
How you is make? Is beautiful...
WANT IT.
Did you make it when you were in Mecca
Looks like a Hope XC with custom graphics, cool if you did make it though.
'95 Kona Cindercone (singlespeed)
Thorn Raven Enduro with Rohloff Speedhub (not that unusual I know)
Singular Peregrine with Alfine and lots of shiny bits.
And a full-sus singlespeed belt-drive Kona (niche-tastic)
Ya dorks it's a Goldtec Pro Comp and I machine them! I am the programmer/operator at BETD Goldtec and so I make lots and lots of bits for your bike gents - it's like being a kid in a sweet shop 😀
2004 Turner Rail. Supposedly very rare, only 10 in this country I think I was told? Never seen another one out and about.
Carrera Kraken, which is about as common as you can get I suppose.
And a Fly Pantera 2004. Reasonably rare.
My bike collection is so exclusive that even the Tollah has never even heared of them never mind seen them. 🙄
Ritchey road bike. Never seen another.
Shand mtb too, pretty rare and very AWESOME
Ooh ooh and a Fisher Prometheus.
Am surprised there is so little old/rare stuff on this thread.
Nicolai Ion-st in raw,With red bearing covers and shock links.I would think that it is one of only a few Ions in the UK and probably the only one in this colour scheme.
Titus Eleven
Dekerf Solitaire S/S
Paganini Columbus road bike with Campy Cobalt
March Racing Developments Pro BMX
Merlin Cyrene - never seen another on the road
Airnimal Rhino - ditto, my first mountain bike - a 20er
Dawes Toucan tandem - rare and yellow (and heavy)
Poyner track bike - never seen or heard of another
Kona Unit 29er - my real mountain bike
I'd know all of mine a mile off, apart from road bike which is stock apart from tyres, (wider) bars and saddle.
Miley Cyrus makes bikes??
Some truly great bikes on here.
Of all the frames i have owned, the only one i have never seen being ridden by anyone else in the same year/colour is my old '01 specialized hardrock. As i recall they made it in about five colours/component specs that year and mine was particularly poor value for money, so i suppose no one else was gullible enough to shell out the extra for the metallic black 'pro' model. 😆
Cannondale 900sx hardtail, spesh s-works fsr and trek oclv 5900. I'm basically mondeoman!

Repack Rider clearly has THE most exclusive bike - do you still ride it?
Currently on loan to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame. I ride my 1983 Ritchey Annapurna. Here is it with the guy who made it.
Seven Sola SL ti made to measure.
Specialized Tarmac S-Works road bike
Unique Cyclo-cross bike (steel frame made to measure)
On-One 853 SS
On-One 456
I want those hubs.
In anodized blue, with matching seatclamp, headset and brake hoses.
Titanium Pompino - only one built?
20" wheel On-One with suspension f & r - (Tyrell?)
EPX carbon fibre monocoque (Speedster) with Rohloff
Belt drive prototype from the inventor of the Strida
Dahon Hammerhead
Dahon Groove
Assume we're talking about stuff from manufacturers as opposed to customs/specials, otherwise I could go on all night 🙂
(eg 2 wheel drive bike, folding recumbent penny farthing, etc - my attic is bulging with daft ideas)
Ambition - a titanium Dursley Pedersen.
No matter how much you all spaff over how old, or how rare, or how unique they are ultimately they are all just a bunch of tubes that are bikes. And bikes ain't that spectacular. They are just bikes.
Custom nicolai helius am,
custom nicolai ufo st
ibis tranny
evil doc
"this is my bike, there are many like it, but this one is mine..."
Feeling pretty unique since no one has mentioned any of mine yet..
Orange P7 SS
Kona JTS
Swobo Del norte
Peugeot Performance 2000 (with dura ace kit)
Skull Skates Cruiser - Prototype frame No.000001 of 4
Federal Division 24" BMX frame stripped and clear coated by me and built with King headset, RF Turbines blah blah...
Chromag Stylus (a bit more normal...)
Ibis mojo: Pretty common now
Pastey Howler Ti: Hardly any around, only seen one on here. Mainly because they sent the prototype to be tested and it got slated for a load of manufacturing errors. Sorted for the production run, but I think it killed the brand off.
Spesh Demo 8: Pretty rare version, '05 in ex demo white, most of the batch that was bound for the UK snapped, so rare over here but common in the states I guess.
Spesh P2: Strangley not seen many of these about.
Kona Fire Mountain: Loads of them around, but not many with 700c disk wheels and drops.
coogan - MemberNo matter how much you all spaff over how old, or how rare, or how unique they are ultimately they are all just a bunch of tubes that are bikes. And bikes ain't that spectacular. They are just bikes.
Indeed, and if they were spectacular, there would be more of them around, then no one would think they were that special.
People like rare stuff thou, just look at how much that varse sold for last week!
Turner 5 spot
Superlight
Fisher ferrous
Spesh singlecross
Condor Fratello
Are all I have running at the moment.

Commencal Flame Ti (I know theres one or two knocking about on here, but never seen any on the trails)
Mojo's, Santa Cruz, turners are all common if you look in the right place. I saw 4 turners yesterday not invoking the one I have!
Black Sheep Stelleon. Only one like it in the world. But custom bikes probably dont really count.
Repack rider is pretty well unbeatable in terms of exclusivity though.
456 with avid.. slx and revs... and a pannier rack
In my street I am Don Nicheista and people remove their hats and lower their eyes in deference when I pass..
On STW I am tesco value sliced white loaf

A Charge Plug Freestyler, but with different forks.
A Genesis iO, only seen one other whilst out but I bet there's more.
A Raleigh Airlite Race, never seen another one one the road since I got it, but I doubt they're rare in the slightest
PJM1974 - just contact us at BETD and let us know what you want doing. Easily done matey ok, even with some custom etching too.
Repack rider's collection is easily the most exclusive and coolest on here and he's by far the coolest rider.
It is Charlie Kelly FFS!
Anyway mine.
Exclusive(ish)
Moots Rigormootis - I'd never seen another until I moved here!
Spot Brand Singlespeed - One of their first.
Principia Road Bike - Summer racer. Unique, built it up myself.
Common as muck
Marin Mill Valley - It was a present, honest guv!

Salsa Selma - probably a small number in the UK
Salsa Mamasita - ditto
Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL3 - only one in the UK in nude carbon/red/orange I think
Giant Bowery - common as.....
