Managed to pick an old Sunn chrome mtb frame from a bike project I was working at today but it has been brush painted with black paint. Is there a way of removing the paint without damaging the decals? I think the frame is from around the mid to late 90's but not sure what model.

Get some proper paint thinners. Wrap a rag round your index finger and dip into the thinners then carefully wipe the paint off bit by bit. It's worked for me before getting paint off plastic, I got the tip from a mate who works in a bodyshop for a living
