I usually bang it on the floor, and shake it at all sorts of angles for about 5 mins, then say "!"£$%^&* it.", and put it to one side, at which point it normally just falls out.

I just rebuilt my front wheel, super fast, tubeless went up first time. First ride out. Rattle rattle like spoken dokeys. Really annoyed, but when you are riding you can't actually hear it over the trail.

Blob of grease on a toothpick, shake until nipple hits it, then maneuver it out.

I done this recently building a pair of nexties, gave the angry shake a go to no avail.
Ended up taping up all the holes bar one, shoogle it so the nip was roughly around the uncovered hole then henry hoover done the rest!

Cut it in half.

Oh, you want to reuse the rim?

Stick a spoke through the hole and shake the wheel till the nipple comes round and gets stopped by the spoke. Pluck it out with a pair of tweezers.

I had an emergency wheelbuild , lbs lost a nipple in there couldn't get it out, but I was in a rush, planned to work it out when i got hom, tied it on the back of the trailer, (I was on the nursery run), rode a few km back to nursery, got the kids, by the time I'd cycled home (5km) it'd worked itself out
