Having started a 'Where do you live' thread, there seem to be plenty of riders around Leeds and above (Sheff and Bradford inc) and wondered if anyone fancied a weekend out and about?

Anyone fancy it?

Just post a start location and time, and have a route in mind. I'm sure people will turn up.

Yup, right day and I'd be there. So long as I wasn't the only one.

I've got no route in mind, more that I want to ride with some new/more folk.

I quite like it up around the North York Moors; if anyone want to suggest routes lets get it started ๐Ÿ˜€

Oh alright, I'll lag behind. (I mean 'come along') As long as you pick my weekend off & don't do a trail centre. Some good routes on the NYM & Dales to look at.

Count me in. Yorkshire Dales or something outside the Peaks would be good.

Ton, what kind of 'gradient' does the leccy bike allow you to ride?

I'll try and think of a route

Right then, whats everyone doing on sunday?

Shall we say meet outside Bingley station at 9:30 for a 10:00 start.

If my memory serves me right its about 15 miles, mostly bridleways and a bit of road, with one or two technical parts. Gentle spin, bit of banter and a pint at the end.

Ton: convince Chew to go anti-clockwise so you can cruise all the way up Altar Lane whilst everyone else grinds their way up ๐Ÿ˜†

I'm away with work tonight and got builders in so at mother in laws for two weeks ๐Ÿ™ but as we've got interest I'll speak to the gatekeeper tomorrow and identify a date (likely in May).

I've got a Mondeo estate and and can fit me+3 from Leeds area.

Well its off-road so there will be bumps 8O. Plenty of bail-out options by road back to Bingley though.

I'm out every Sunday morning with a couple of others EARLY(7 ish start), but start from the Queensbury/Shelf end and generally do 2 to 3 hours finishing back in Shelf/Queensbury! We sometimes do the Ogden routes, but also head down towards Brighouse and do the Norland Moor, Southowram routes. If any one fancy's joining us then you are more than welcome!
Get in touch if you can make one in!
Tim.
