Surely that's just effectively the same jumping off without a bike. Probably ends fine (with a dead bike though)...

Those blue Chep pallets are hired and remain the property of Chep, in much the same way a Calor gas bottle remains the property of Calor.
My guess is he lands the jump OK, but then gets arrested.

Correct. Most of them aren't fixed gear.
Although for him to pedal backwards up that ramp, this one probably was.
