I’ve looked for this online but I can’t seem to get past the first step of even saving or “favouriting” the strava route.
I’m a free member of strava, (maybe that is the problem) and have a Garmin Connect account, albeit this was set up after I did the ride I’m trying to repeat and save to the edge.
It’s nothing too remarkable, just the beast at cyb, but with the unnecessary fire road loop at the top avoided.
And yes, I appreciate it doesn’t need navigation around the route, but I’m curious how to do this anyway….
That app looks perfect but I’m on iOS…any workaround?
Go to Strava.com (can be done from iPhone, just don’t select open app when prompted) settings, My Apps and make sure Garmin Connect is selected.
Via the Strava app, save the ride. The go the courses tab in Garmin Connect, the ride should be in there, open the ride, 3 dots top right and “send to device” the sync your Garmin and it will be there.
Sorted thanks, using desktop, not app, seems to have got over the hurdle.
Whatever you do, do not download it as a gpx from Strava and upload it to New Files on your 130. It may die like mine did. Que lots of panic and Internet searching to find a solution. Took a minute but I did fix it by pressing lots of buttons in a specific order. Do what Jimmy said above and you'll be fine!

Should be ok, I imported the GPX to the connect app, then it synched.
