[#3571855]

all shimano 10spd transmission and looked to get a cheaper sram chain to get through the winter. All set up with new cables and indexing great on a new frame. The thing nearly castrated me when i hit the beans. Any experts kmow if the 10spd stuff is compatable or should I go to LBS to check if the mech hanger is square?

A Sram chain will work fine.

Yep, much prefer them to Shimano chains, mostly due to the powerlink rather than a pin.

To me, they feel relatively agricultural.

SRAM Powerlinks/Powerlocks work on Shimano chains.
