Anyone been riding out on the Downs recently? Heading down that way for Christmas and was hoping to get a Boxing Day ride in.
Perfect riding conditions. Warm and sunny with recent average temps of 25c and dusty dry trails.

The Downs near Black Cap / Stanmer this morning, difficult going but great fun, especially in the woods....

Ah, that's a surprise - a pleasant one - it's all melted in Brighton so I assumed it would be up there too.
New lights arrived now too so I'll be very happy 🙂
I'd assumed it'd all melted too but it's holding up well. The Stanmer singletrack's mainly packed down snow so riding well, just a bit icy in places where lots of walkers have been on the main paths. Cold though in the northerly wind, but deffo worth it.
