[Closed] Hope/Castleton conditions..?

No snow in Whaley Bridge, 4 miles away and not had any rain for more than a week, so will all be dry and frozen up there i think.

I have just finished a ride up there this afternoon.

It is mostly dry, with hard mud, with of course some big patches of ice, but with no snow (yet?). I went down Chapel Gate (big patches of ice in the rough bit, but fine on the easy bit off to the left) and also I was around Mam Tor dropping into Castleton, which was all fine. So apart from avoiding the odd bit of lethal ice it is great riding at the moment, with no wind as well.

Bloody freezing at the moment,should be rock hard if you get out early.
