[Closed] Hope x2 brakes

Hi all

Just got my new brakes as above to replace my old xc4's, I am running xt shifteres, found that the down shift leaver is difficult to access as part of the brake body is in the way, is there any way to get around this, or do I need new shifters, recon the shifters are about 4-5 years old.

Pics appreciated if you have any idea's

The tech levers are longer than old hope levers. The brake levers need to go inside the shifters (ie the shifters are nearer the grips. You have to remove the optics on the shiters to achieve this fit. Hope confirm this with pictures on their website.

Thanks found it how easy it it to remove the optical display? Is this a simple job?

Yeah my x2's suck, when I have the levers in the right position the shifter contols are wrong and vice versa

Bring back Shimano Dual control...............

there should be 2 small screws that fix the optical display to the main shifter plate...it then just lifts off.
