Right - bike plans are coming together, but I need some wheels!
I was thinking a set of the above Hopes, but some people seem to criticise the rims, what should I be looking at? The last wheels I bought were Mavic 819s 10+ years ago (from Big Al at Wheel Craft - but I don't live anywhere near there anymore!).
Pricewise I want to keep it around the Hope mark, so no crazy exotic suggestions please 😉
Also - 29" Boost front and rear, which will be run tubeless. They need to be reasonably burly - not because I am so damn gnaaarrrr.... more because I am so damn fat 😉

Nothing wrong with Hope, good rims, good hubs and great UK business.
This was my assumption, but as soon as you start searching the interwebs you find folk complaining that they aren't made from Unobtanium Alloy and are 0.0025mm narrower than ExoticTradings latest marvelwheels.
It does get confusing this internets thing!!!
At your price +1 for hope, if you wanted wider rims then hope hubs laced to dt swiss 471 or the new 511 would be my choice.
