So,

Bought some pro 2 Evo wheels off of the forum. Now the rear is setup form QR but I need 12mm so have bought the conversion kit end cap things but have literally not got a scooby how to get the QR ones out of the hub? Can anyone help please? They seem pretty damn tight and I'm not quite ready to take the mole grips to em yet... However I can't seem to find much online as to how this is done.

Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Lots of pulling and shouting and crying. Maybe a little bit of vice action coupled with a little bit of levering with a little flat bladed screw driver.

That's what I did anyway....

The QR end caps should just pull off the hub. Mine took a fair bit of force the first time they came off.

As said - they just pull straight out. I found that using a QR skewer end just inserted to move / wiggle them up, down, left... before pulling made it easier.

Thanks for the advice all.

Little bit of vice, pulling and swearing did the trick! The drive side one was particularly stubborn but all swapped now.

Cheers!

Bit late now for you but might help someone else. I put a long 5mm rode down the axle and tap with a hammer. Easier to push them off than pull them off and any marks stay inside the cap.
