Been thinking my back brakes are pretty poor compared to how they used to be.
Spongy and no real power.
Tried a re-bleed today but no better. My front feels ok so i think my "bleeding" skills are up to it!
I can almost get the lever to the bar.
I'm thinking maybe its time i tried a re-build. I didn't think a lot of fluid was being pulled through-maybe its t'other end thats not working?!

Is there anything i should be wary of?
Any special tools needed?
Any extra parts i should buy , just in case!

Thanks for your input-before i jump in at the deep end!

If you have hopes you can send them off for a service, 40 quid, new pads seals bleed and check, come back feeling like new.

Unlikely to be the mastercylinder with those symptoms - more likely there still is some air in them at a guess.

Master cylinders ( levers) are easy to do however - if you have circlip pliers or really fine needle nosed ones for the circlip. All you need is the two master cylinder seals

Wind the reach right out when bleeding - you get more fluid per pull that way and close the bleed nipple with the lever still bottomed out.
