I have just got a new wheel with a hope II hub. put the 20mm spacers on it and then tried to fit it to my lyrik's but it does not sit in the cup well and I can not get the axle in.

has anyone else had any issues with it hope / lyrik's combanation

my original hub (bontrage) has a small chamfer on the hub.

not sure what to do clean some of the paint from the fork or send the wheel back and build up my old hub (IT's 18 hole so not many options for rims)

There is no reason that it should not fit, hold the wheel tight then thread the maxle, i have Pro3s with the 20mm kit fitted and use with a maxle and it's snug but it definitley fits...

I have Hope pro II hubs and Lyriks. No issues at all. Are the cups on the correct sides, are they locked in correcty with the metal do-da clip?

yes the have the clips in to hold the spacers in. they do move about a bit is that normal?
The video on how to install them suggested they did not have sides. Do they? they looked very similar.

I will have a good look tomorrow when there is a bit more light.

I removed some of the excess power coating with a blade and got it to fit. it was almost like the fork needed facing, I bet someone makes a tool for it....

Cheers
