Try organising a group but from Gravity Sports, he did me a good deal on lights and its not long since he did a deal on this exact wheelset

£250 is bloody cheap, RRP on the hubs alone is £205 plus spokes, RRP £32 plus rims RRP £110 the pair, means RRP if you were to build the wheels yourself is £347.

Hope's RRP for the hoops is £300, already saving A LOT, so whoever is selling them to you at £250 ain't making a lot of money, so buy em before they realise.

Aren't Winstanleys still doing them for £230 ish?
Think I spent £207 on mine, but that was a very good deal.

£84 + £144 (Fr and Rr) on Winstanleys - I got mine about 3 weeks ago (Pro II Sp on ZTR's) and they came within 2 days 🙂 I and my mate couldn't find mine new any cheaper mind you.

Cheers chaps. Bike Outlet had 'em at £250 delivered but Winstanleys comes in at £227. Just ordered. All because I ordered some new Pikes with a Maxle and my existing front wheel is QR. She really definitely is gonna kill me. She saw the Pikes arrive yesterday and didn't kick up any stink at all which is a bit worrying.
Just need to find out what I need to run normal tyres tubeless on Flows now.

dont think you can run normal tyres tubeless, but you can easily run normal with tubes, so you might as well buy some new tyres as well - your already in trouble so you might as well continue!

I am running tubeless on DT 5,1D's and ZTR's - use a tubless systems like notubes.com - I would think a std rim strip, rim tape and tubless gunge would be fine (can get it in a single kit from online./shops - BTW you can use them on normal tyres - you have to get them sealed with the gunge - load of threads on here about this 🙂

hope's business model is to make a profit only on the hubs you are essentially getting the rims, spokes and build at cost.

i guess they must be selling quite a few 🙂

Yes - afaik choice of hub colour on Hope Hoops is only available from official Hope Tech dealers. Got mine from my LBS in Hereford (Coombes Cycles).

Hmmm, you'll get coloured hubs, but not white Flow rims. I enquired with a couple of specialist Hope dealers and they could only get black rims.

Got Hope pro 2's on Mavic EN521 rims, DT DB spokes (black) and locking brass nipples. £250 with cloth tapes CRC. Just got some Fire Eye excelerant hubs in white with the same build as above for £194 for the set. Just as good as the Hopes IMO.

Sorry should have read the post properly!! 😳 skimmed over the white Flow part. As others have said black Flows only - at the moment from Hope.
