Apparently the new pick n mix headsets are meant to "Help solve the headset minefield" but i'm well confused.
I want to replace the headset in my C456 running a tapered steerer.
So am i correct in thinking i need:
HOPE H: SHIS EC44/40 1.5" Traditional
&
HOPE 2: SHIS ZS44/28.6 1 1/8" Intergral
Or have i got this horribly wrong!! ❓

2 + H is for a tapered steerer in a non-tapered 44mm headtube. Is that what the C456 has? If it has a tapered headtube it's probably 2 + G you need.
Errrr, as far as i know its a tapered headtube, but the existing Cane Creek one has an external bearing cup rather than integral cup.
This is proving more complex than the meaning of life!! 😯
For the C456 you'd need:
Top cup - 2 - ZS44
Bottom cup - F - EC49
At least i'm pretty sure tht's what i've got on mine.

18 bikes sorted me out when I needed one for a c456 a couple of years back.
looking at the tables and the one-one website I think andy is right
Not the same frame but should be the same headtube config...
My 456 EVO Ti is definately those Andy suggests:
Top cup - 2 - ZS44
Bottom cup - F - EC49
