looking to get some to go with slx breakes, have heard rumours that the spider bolts catch the callipers on some models anyone any experience of using them with shimano brakes

I use them with 525 deores, no worries at all.

Work fine on mine, Mark 2 XT/Saint on 180/160 rotors.

They don't fit in Formula Oro's - unless you take a file to the caliper!!

Shimano Saint M810 brakes with Hope Floaters F = 203mm, R = 180mm
Had to file about 1/2mm off small area of caliper - to clear large floating "rivet".
This was a 2010 Reign X frame - pretty certain clearence will vary on different frames. A case of you don't know till you try.

I have used them with Formula Oro K24's no problem at all.

Exactly the same as zangolin but with saint m800 rear brake. works a treat once it's been filed down a little.

SLX with 183 and 160 are fine, Saint M810 with 183 rear needed shaving as above.
