I like them ,will I buy them? Probably not as there out of my affordability price range, and secondly will most likely not work any better than the Deere cranks with Raceface NW wing that I'm currently using.
They do look prettier though.

They need to produce a reliable BB to go with this chainset, I've been disappointed by the durability of every 30mm BB I've used

They already do.

Hope do a threaded bb with a 30mm axle diameter so the crankset isn't restricted to PF30 or BB30 nonsense.

I'd not noticed that they produced their own 30mm threaded BB, however I'm not convinced of the durability ....IME one of the main sources of failure on 30mm bb's is the small size of the bearings hopefully the guys at hope have managed to fit in larger sizes than the folks at E13

I was interested but the 30mm axle has put me out as I am press PF92!
Also all the extra bolts, washers and collers has put me off, what a flaff!
And how many cranks have I damaged on a normal Hollowtech 2 spline?
Zilch!
And if they were that damaged they would be so old I would buy the latest model!
Saying that if I had a bike with BB30/PF30 I would consider them as i don't like adaptors!
Thanks,
Max

Not a fan of the purple, but the direct mount setup looks ace.

Eh. If they're typical hope they'll be fairly unreliable in predictable and quickly well known ways, but Hope will fix them for you (but never fix the underlying issues)

Saying it over and over again doesn't make it true! ๐Ÿ˜›

Hope have just been in touch to confirm that the Black/175mm versions are in production now, should be available to ship next week/very early Feb.

The colours, along with 165/170 lengths will follow in Springtime.

I've listed on our site, with the current options available -click here!

Hope warranty is good, does not state a length of warranty though. XTR warranty is 3 years and honored by CRC or Merlin.

Will be sticking with my XTR, top end Shimano kit is fit it and forget it (except the pedals).

Had XTR stuff for decades, only needed to get a couple of pairs of pedals changed under warranty and I ride quite a bit and have no mechanical sympathy .

They tend to honor warranties regardless of time in my experience
