Just lately the non-driveside cup of my Hope BB is making an odd noise - not gritty but more like rubbing your hands together!?
Is it worth trying to open it up and clean inside or just get new bearings anyway?

Maybe a bit of grit behind 1st set of seals but prob bearing, I'd take the arms off and tale a closer look

Mine needed more grease after 6 months but is still working fine, probably 2 years old now.
