Hi everyone
My father has recently thoroughly got back into the cycling world after quite a hiatus due to work and health, he’s a big guy due to very low activity levels and also dresses quite conservatively, currently he rides in a long sleeve shirt and cords 😳.
He’s very much urban riding only, pottering here to there on his step through e bike, I’m not looking to dress him up like a roadie or mountain biker. Just something to make his journeys more comfortable.
Currently thinking decathlon polo/flannel trekking shirt.
Discounted fat lad at the back as the kit is too roadie and too branded (think the kits great but the branding is cringey)
So any suggestions?
Does he think he needs to be made more comfortable?
He doesn’t, but last time he rode ‘speacialist’ fabrics etc were not commonplace. Also this is a birthday idea for someone very tricky to buy for.
Hes really developed a love of getting out and exploring and clocking up some serious miles, so despite using the e bike assistance he is actually getting some decent exercise etc etc.
Thank you for the Paul smith suggestion, some smart looking gear but I can’t see him in any of that.
Thinking more technical fabric flannel shirt type stuff.

modest, urban smart cycling clothing that doesn’t scream roadie!
I think Levi’s do or did some kind of commuter range , jeans cut for cycling type of thing .
The morvelo overland stuff might be more what your after .
