British Cycling website says "entry closed" for tomorrow's race. Presumably that's just pre-entry & I can enter on the line?
Yes.
Jolly good - we'll see you tomorrow ๐
See you there. Is the weather looking suitably grotty for cross....I hope so ๐
Back on tubs this week. 8)
That was hard work. Didn't have the legs today (my Coulthard excuse for this week ๐ )
That was a slog, got passed by a rider who then dawdled in the bends and off you went. Smoothness was key I thought.
So didn't catch you, but beat my nemesis, and a few other peers as well as my team mate.
Sure the results will bring me down to earth.
That was really hard, but brilliant. Sprint, corner, slide, sprint, repeat.
Nice to see Mr & Mrs AP. which club/bike were you riding oldgit?
which club/bike were you riding oldgit?
LBRCC Lime green/white/black on a Grey Pearson. Spent the race having a ding dong with two Trisports riders who are also in lime green and white.
Who are you with?
Was that you came up with JoB?
If so, see you on New Years Day...
aP - yup ๐
No club, on a Singular Kite ss, cursing the course designer ;o)
Turn-slip-climb and repeat. What singlespeeds were built for. Fancy a kite myself, but then thought nothing new will make things more 'pleasant'
My griffos were crap on those slippy corners, even at 1.5 bar!
That was probably the tightest course I've ridden at Hillingdon, as some one said 'smooth' was the key. Something I wasn't, unshipped chain 4 times, pulled wheel over twice and crashed coming off the tarmac after the finish line. ๐
Edit: Top marks to the organising club, paying out to the top ten vets. Not sure I've seen that before.
