Just putting together my v2 Hightower (after waiting months) and got to the chain guide ... looks a little tight to me. Probably about 1mm - 1.5mm clearance. Reckon this will be ok, or should I be thinking about putting some washers behind the back plate to space it out a little?
Is it a one up guide? If so just space it out with a washer behind the mount side I’ve done that on my last few SC

Had less than a mm with that guide on my Aether 9c. I used a washer just for peace of mind.
I had reasonable success with a Funn zippa lite on my Aether with similar issues. I did have to trim the back of the plastic cage locator nub and also the bolt, but clean enos now much better.
It did take a bit of pissing about to find the best combination.
