For in the gym or on a solo night ride.
My current favourite is [img] [/img]

A lot of my regular music is maudlin or folky stuff, so recommendations welcome please!

Velobeats.com

On iTunes or download mp3 direct......

The drum and bass is scarier than house when night riding IMO!

Glitch mob. More voltage is my current choice.

Love a good tunes thread..

current motivational fave - shame it's so short. Perfect fast singletracker tune.. rest of the album isn't great tho.

Or SilkRoyalShowcase if you like electronic stuff - download some Zack Roth mixes for deep, moody tech/house, works for me on long rides, steady rather than hi tempo tho.

Otherwise, Motorhead )

I go between some live early acdc and django django. Helps me through the monotony of intervals on the exercise bike. Looking for some new tunes too.

You could try Podrunner. They are 1 hour mixes at a specific BPM. There's also some for intervals, or increasing speeds. http://www.djsteveboy.com/podrunner.html

I came to suggest Artic Monkeys (1st 2 albums back-to-back) but looks like you have that covered. Biffy Clyro (only revolutions) works for me as does Bloc Party (Silent Alarm).

I usually avoid my own music for doing turbo sessions to, as I find it creates too many negative associations.

I do have an intervals workout playlist that I get on OK with though - it has Erik Satie for the recovery bits and Minor Threat for the business bits. Works surprisingly well.

Placebo - Meds
Radiohead - Hail to the Theif
Dance stuff is the best though. Some of the old essential mixes are awesome.

Love riding on my own with music. You can't hear the drivechain grinding to fragments in this muck.

Swedish House Mafia - Until Now. Plenty high tempo in that album.
