Thinking of doing a cream tea ride on the Qs .How about it? and any other likely suspects if you can round some up.This will finish my week off well.Exmoor yesterday Mendips today (short recovery ride 9 miles)and Dartmoor tomorrow. Going to do the classic route from recent WMB starting from Princetown to Burrator Reservoir via Drizzle Combe and back on the old railway line. Will it be worth driving that far for do you reckon? Will i enjoy it ?(apologies if i've asked before memories going!)

do you know the route then?

Are you having a laugh or what ??

Trailmonkey was the guide for the WMB crew on that route ๐Ÿ˜†

I'm sure the OP was unaware of that ๐Ÿ˜†

There are other places to ride on Dartmoor, oldfart, that are much more fun and a lot easier to get to. If you were thinking of Princetown purely because you'd got a foolproof route from a mag, then I can show you other more worthy stuff if you'd like ?

TM obviously i didn't know that you are right. As for other routes what do you have in mind ?Bear in mind i am still recovering from 2 spinal fractures so can't be anything too rocky techy etc as i can't afford any offs.Did a ride last year round Hound Tor and Jays grave wasn't over inspired but if you can show me something suitable i'd appreciate not having to gawp at maps all day.Somewhere with a grub stop would be cool as well.Tea and cakes on me in return for your services.

I'd choose Hound tor as the start point. There's bags of good riding to be had. Don't worry, it won't be the really gnarly stuff ๐Ÿ˜‰
Shall we say 10.30 Hound tor CP ?
