For the first time in ages, the missus asked me what i wanted for xmas. So i asked for a new bike frame. So i ordered a BFe. Just got it finished and this yesterday was its trial shakedown run on some local trails. no action shots cause i ride alone mostly - billy no mates here

Looks nice - what size is that frame and how tall are you?

Cheers,
Richard.

Very nice indeed. A couple of frames appeared on ebay recently and was mighty tempted but don't think it would have flown at home so to speak!

One q - surely given the type of bike, 2-ring + bash would suit better?

a bash ring and a single or 2 ring was considered. and i will certainly switch to this when doing some full on gravity action. for example when i spend a week in Åre this summer

Yeah, a BeFe needs a bash ring and some proper 20mm forks IMHO 😉 I had u-turn coil pikes on mine and it was much fun

Åre in the summer rules!

I'm deeply envious, I'd love to go back there.
Anywhere that serves perfect coffee and buns half way down the downhill runs has a place in my heart forever.
