Ive seen a 15 inch spesh hardrock for sale and was wondering if this would be a good size for my young lady?
jokes about 6" being more than enough not wanted I presume?

Err, from memory that should be ok. Best check the top-tube reach as ladies tend to have shorter arms/bodies than men the same height. Best bet it to try it out or check it against her current bike (assumeing it fits ok)
Let me know what model year it is and I'll check the sizing guide at work tomorrow.
SSP
Stoner, 12" is more than enough as a rule
I'm pretty good at sizing a lady up, need pics of course
mrs ton is 5ft2'' and ride a 15'' specialized hardrock.
I'm 5'5" and ride a variety of sizes. As said, depends on the top tube. I even ride a 14" Inbred with a huge amount of seatpost showing but I buck the trend by having very very long arms and long legs. We're all different.
If it's any help I used to ride a 15" Rock Lobster.
Hi Cinnamon girl....thanks for that.
Im looking at a spesh hardrock - tbh made a bit of a boo boo in that I bought an old Kona which has turned out to be a pile of poo.
She's away for a few days and wanted to surprise her...so desparately searching the ads.

It really is best to try for size. Girlies are always happy to help out with letting someone sit on theirs. I know about buying wrong sized bikes!!
5'5" lassie - that is a mighty big collie. ๐
Blimey..I wonder how many people saw that and thought...nah that a tad too obvious and hardly humour...
Then Smee comes along....
Well What kind of thread title is "Help - sizing a 5'5" lassie" anyway?
I stayed away from the even more obvious it'll be roughly 5'5" response.
Well aren't you disciplined ๐
Chimp.
