My maxle on my Rebas is proper proper siezed. as in turn 1/4 and then won't go any futher.

Bloody new fangled maxle things, year of QR use and no problems, any ideas before I send them back?

Unscrew the wedge completely - see if that helps. Unscrew the axle as much as possible then hit it with a rubber mallet? Usually if they seize its on the central spacer in the wheel so will unscrew but then won't come out of the wheels

Is this brand new? I fail to see how it could unscrew a 1/4 turn then stick. Something odd for sure

Well Mr. TJ it looks like you spot on. The cup is stuck in the fork at the QR side so the maxle turns with a bit of force but all it's doing is flexing the forks apart.

Rubber hammer didn't budge it.

Any other ideas? bit scared of using a bigger hammer ๐Ÿ˜

Bit late now, but you're supposed to grease them lightly to prevent this happening.

I've done the same thing though, a meeting with my friend Mr Mallet (not Timmy) fixed it
