Ok, basically i'm fed up with smacking my 3rd chain ring (which I never use anyway) and also my chain keeps slapping wildly and sometimes comes off so iv'e gone with a 22/36 double with bash guard and a blackspire stinger setup.
The stinger is a BB mount type and i'm fitting an SLX hollowtech 2 chainset on a 73mm shell.
My question is in the past on a 68mm shell iv'e always fitted two 1.5mm spacers on the drive side and one on the non drive, and for a 73mm shell one 1.5mm spacer on the drive side and no spacers on the other side.
So if i'm fitting a chainset on a Heckler which has a 73mm BB shell and a BB mount stinger am I right in thinking the Stinger on the drive side will act as the spacer and fit no spacers on the non drive side? will this be right and does anyone else have a Heckler with this setup?
Any help would be greatly appreciated ๐
Yes correct if BB mounted you will use none of the small black plastic spacers just the chain guide back plate.

Exactly the same set up on mine, has always worked perfectly and has never dropped a chain R
73mm needs no spacers
