Help with Shimano Post to Post 180mm adapter

Righto,
Bought my new XT rear brake last week and it appears that CRC has the front brake in stock now, albeit £6 more expensive. So I'll buy that too.
The thing is though that I can't seem to find the necessary adaptor for the front brake on CRC. I have Fusion forks which seem to have a post adapter so I guess I need a 180mm post to post adapter. But they only have 203mm post to post adapters. Is that because for the front brake 180mm is the expected norm and so you don't actually need any adapter at all?

also, which is newest and shiniest, M785 or M775 XT brakes?

Higher number = newer brake.

You still need an adaptor for 180mm, should be fairly easy to find.
