Hi guys,
I was bleeding front brake today and heard a cracking noise only to find my piston has a lovely crack on it leaking fluid.
I've heard on here that parts from a cheaper caliper fit the xt m785 brakes? Anyone got any info on this? Would be greatly appreciated
From what I know shimano don't do spares as such. I intend on repairing these brakes using parts from a cheaper caliper.

A new xt caliper will be about £25 but any Shimano caliper should do the job.

I done exactly the same few weeks ago,I looked on Pinkbike and got a wrecked rear brake that had a near perfect calliper for 15quid posted.Quick swap over and bleed and it's running perfect
