It worked a couple of days ago, but it now does not stay down when it is lowered and just comes back up again.
I think I slightly loosened and re tightened the red collar when pulling it out to have a look at it, if that is anything to do with it.

Have you tried cleaning around the lever? Might be some muck holding the lever up?
Yep, check all points of the cable movement first of all
When you loosened the red collar you increased the rebound setting. You need to reset it -

I will give them all a go, pretty sure the lever is clean as it has just been returned from being fixed, so reckon it might be the rebound thing.

Too much tension on the barrel adjuster on the remote release. Screw it in a turn or so.
If not send back mine fell apart during the mega and came back all shiney and reassembled. (Dont take it completely apart)
