I desperately looking for a mountain bike holiday in europe, looked at a few companies online but would welcome any suggestions from anyone here
Im mainly a xc rider, not really into northshore type stuff but dont mind a downhill or too, money is a big issue as im now into the last year of my nursing and am looking for everything(ish!) to be included.....all I want to do is ride, relax and sleep : )
any ideas greatly appreciated
How cheap's cheap?
We booked up last week for Morzine. Self catered apartment is £180 a week per person for three people. Flights were £280 from Glasgow to geneva however had we booked 3 days earlier they would have been £160.

Give Mallorca a look. Great mountains (the Tramuntana range) and some excellent MTB XC riding. Plenty of signpoasted trails and some good maps mean you can go under your own steam. Cheap flights too, of course.

Stay anywhere between Valldemossa and Pollenca and you'll be fine for mountains, but Soller is well served with trails (and nice places to eat) without being stupidly expensive.

go to Rosas in Spain, loads of decent riding in the foothills of Pyrenees, national parks with mtb routes nearby and lots of natural trails on Cap de Creus.
