Mates forks(Dual Air) are not giving full travel and have to be pulled apart to extend fully,
What the **** is wrong with them?

Agree with Woody, let some air out of the negative chamber, job done

Ensure both air chambers completely empty then re-inflate, starting with the positive. When re-inflating, put the same pressure in both chambers.

If you still can't get full travel and it feels like they're hitting something half way down, the oil has probably leaked out the damper into the lowers (not a major problem, just an o-ring needs replacing)

Did you completely let them down though? Empty the neg first when you do so btw.

A little fluid is not unusual. Don't panic just yet.

Not necessarily anyhting to worry about, there should be a small amount of shock oil in the air chambers to keep the seals sweet. Try tipping the forks to a different angle to avoid it

I know he's sorted the problem now, but I find that with equal pos and neg air, I "lose" about 10mm of travel. i run about 10psi less in the neg chamber than in the positive.

Gosh, that was interesting wasn't it? ๐Ÿ™
