folks, installing new forks and found an xlite wedge thing in my old fork steerer which i would like to remove and reuse in new fork - any ideas on how i can get it out?

Any bolts that lock it in place?

knock it out from the bottom after you have loosened the top bolt or knock it through (down) if it doesn't budge?
