Hi
I have been away from the new bike sections of magazines / forums for a while and could do with some inspiration for my next bike.
I sold a Cube Stereo (140mm trail bike) about 18 months ago tbh in a panic due to the 29 revolution, I thought it would be worthless if I held onto it too long. But loved it. Don't judge me :).
This was not the bike for some of the 30 - 40 mile xc rides I was doing at the time.
Following a Scott demo I was blow away by the Scale 920 (29er xc hardtail) and made the purchase. I love this bike for speed and distance covering efficiency. But not as much fun on the twisty jumpy stuff.
The problem is I can only afford one bike and would like a bike to be as fun and capable as the Cube but capable of doing a longer ride without killing me. I have come round to a 29 or 650 cube stereo again.
Thoughts or other real world suggestions? I recon I could get to 3000-3500 without having to sell an organ / child.
Cheers
