Help please I have a Shimano SLX double chainring with a 22 and 34 T combination and a Sram 11 - 32T PG990 cassette. I have X9 shifters and cables. I'd like to get the rear mech up and out of the way if poss and wondered if a Short cage X9 rear mech be suitable for this set up or do I need a medium version?

Surely a medium for a double chainring? Short only for single chainring I thought

(34-22)+(32-11)=33 capacity
sounds like a medium mech reqd.
sram capacities SRAM long = 43T; medium = 37T; short = 30T (from mtbr forum)
