Hey up new to all this so please bear with me
I'm looking at getting a new cube reaction team for some general hacking around (not racing) I'm 6" about 12 stone, haven't had an mtb for around 10 years but allways like the smaller frames (clearance & looks) I do not have the good fortune to try before I buy as I need to order in the am to get my deal.
Do you think I can get away with the 16 or best play it safe with the 18 ? I'm going to commute once in a blue moon so the bike is for fun in the forest and down the beach ... Any sound advice would be great ๐Ÿ™‚

18 sounds right to me, if you were 5'9 or 5'10 I think it would be more of a dilemna

What's your inside leg? At 6 ft I'd say 16 is definitely out, I'd be looking at the 20 too if it's more xc/commute duties, but if you like slinging it about then 18

18 or 20, 16 would be way to small, you would smash your knees on the bars every time you turned a corner

Best bet is to try one for size as height and inside leg are not the best guide for bike fitment, those measurements only offer a starting point.

Top tube length is more critical than frame size

But saying that I'm 5'9" with a 32" inside leg and I ride an 18" AMS 100 Pro, if Cube made a 17" it would be perfect for me, the 16 was too small the 18 just works with a little tweaking

If you're anywhere near Lincolnshire we have a few Cube's in stock that you could try for size www.jccookcycles.co.uk

It was a toss up between the cube and rockhopper pro if I went for the specialized I would have probably gone 17.5 but the cube looks a beter spec bike, hope it rides as nice...
