I've got a specialized BG saddle that I was measured for a few years ago. Felt confortable for a time but now it feels like I'm sitting on one of my razors. In serious agony now. My arse hasn't changed in size so don't know what is wrong. Tried some road bike saddles and they are better but not great.

Question is how do you choose a saddle? I can't go and buy loads on a trial and error basis. Need something different as this he day after riding is ending up being more painful to sit than walking around!

Mine is set up pretty flat but the angle was my first thought. May double check though as looked at it briefly on my ride.

What saddles are you guys using at the moment that are really comfortable? May get rid of my 4 yr old alias if I can be convinced on another as my set up seems pretty conventional and slight tweaks haven't made any difference

Has the saddle sagged in the middle over time? This can transform a comfortable saddle into agony.

Tehre is no one answer 0 it depends on the shape of your backside.
