Looking to buy a new race BMX (probably).

But the chain ring is past its use by date, as is the rear wheel, and I think the BB. Don't think its worth repairing, reckon I could get something nicer new and sell the old one for less money.
Don't have a clue where or what to look at though. Like the look of the dialled mx20r, except for the price. Thinking around £300 as a budget - will that get me something decent?

That will get you an entry level BMX race bike. Have a look at Intense from www.sourcebmx.co.uk, or Redline and SE Racing from groovebmx.co.uk or radbmxshop.co.uk.
Buying second had will get you a lot more bike. Check out the classifieds on bmxtalk.com or radbmx.co.uk.
