I am after some bomb proof bikes for a group of kids with disabilities. The bikes will lead a very hard life and will be used on the flat.

So I am looking for £250 ish budget single speed mountain bikes , jump bikes, or even bmx cruisers... Who makes stuff like this?

Charlie, I have the 29" version, I picked mine up for £250 as they did have then at 270 and I had a discount voucher. It's s very good bike for the price.

Cheers for the stickers btw.

SE Bikes?

I have the SE Stout at my MIL's in the USA. Cheap, cheery, tough as the oldest of boots.

Or give Si off of Webbs a call. He is now building up his own bikes and might be able to do something at the prices you seek.

Dunno if you can do deals through the trade with them but Halfords has loads that look just what your after at half the suggested price. Both 24" & 26"

QWERTY get rid of that pic please, your getting in the way of a thread thats going towards helping disabled kids!

Might not be SS, but what kit do they use at Centre Parks?

They must take a hell of a lot of abuse?

In case you didnt look at the Halfords site these are £150 leaves a nice bit of change for some helmets and gloves, or even and extra bike or two.
