Just finding my legs again after a couple of years off - 10 miles (ish) on the HT, or 20 miles (ish) on the e-bike?

Leaning towards the e-bike for smiles, but a bit of me wants the HT fitness (I reckon that can wait a few weeks though)

Will be a Derbyshire Dales/White Peak bimble

Have you actually measured your output in both scenarios?

CAn't be that far off fitness wise?

Anyway, I vote smiles, not miles - whatever gives you most smiles.

Grindleford to ride Froggatt edge.
A bimble eh?
Park here Dropped pin
https://goo.gl/maps/9VtGnqfR5RnSubrx6
And climb the lane *cough Footpath to the top, go right at the top. Push your bike out to ride Froggatt and curbar edge and back again. If you want some more then ride north over over houndkirk Moor and pass lady Cannings, ride lady Cannings if you want then come back out to the byway and ride round to burbage rocks, there's a made up double track that runs the length of burbage rocks that'll take you almost back to the start. Descend the woods back down to Grindleford. You can park at the top there if you like near the start of Froggatt edge but parking at the bottom of the hill means you end on a peachy descent through the woods. Have fun.

Was thinking more as to which bike to take (if any - at the gym now 🤣), will probs ride from the doorstep in Darley Dale, but cheers I'd never thought of parking at Grindleford to ride houndkirk etc, usually park at fox house.

Can't beat a cheeky one down Padley though 😉

Like **** did I ☹️

Shouldn't have gone to the grin (was freezing at 8am, which drove that decision), was lovely when I got back, but had a pile of jobs to do, a bit of procrastinating, rode through the park to my favourite pub for a break, did some work stuff,ย  got drunk.

However, I'm fettling with the bikes, buying bike stuff and being generally bike interested - it will come
