I would like to ride my mountain bike, for some reason I cant. Havent ridden it since Easter, and that was only a quicky blast on the local jumps.

I seem to opt for the road bike every time.

The weather is great at the moment, I would like to go mountain biking tonight, please give me some motivation/inspiration.

Its too late, I havent ridden my bmx for about 15months, and have no desire to do so!

I would like to ride my mtb, but lack the motivation. its so much easier to go road riding. I think its because I now have to drive a little to the trails

I hadn't ridden off road for 6 months or so and the last time was on the Sirius. After months of faffing I finally had the Alma ready for riding, went out and hammered it. I got home grinning even with a rear indexing problem. I just need to get a new headset and service the forks and it'll race ready. Grin to the power of...
Just go for it, we only regret the things we didn't do, no?

Its half tempting, but I just feel like going on a 3 hour xc mince round the local trails.

Don't do it, stick with the road bike, far less faffing.

I went out, it was a nice evening. I used the SPD's. this was a bad decision. I couldnt ride up hills very quickly because my bike feels too short and the forks bob up and down.

In hindsight I should have used flats and rode some downhills, or gone out on the road bike.

But at least I rode my mountain bike.

I was going to go out for a road ride over a couple of passes at lunchtime, I did north & south Winlatter instead. It was good on the mountain bike today the trails were quick and dry, but doing the road tomorrow is more appealing.
