What are the levers on these and where can I get a set?

And (no laughing now), I'm guessing that the bars are just cut down drops, turned upside down?

And is a fat balding 37 year old going to look ridiculous riding something like this? (Rolled up jeans have yet to be decided on!)

they are cross-top levers. cane-creek, tektro, salsa and specialized make them.
you can buy bars like that but i have forgotten what they are called? pursuit bars? bull-horns? try a roadie shop.
