So I'm located near J25 M25.

There are three bike shops nearby which shall remain nameless but I don't trust with my trusty steeds due to past incidents and other reputations.

Can anyone recommend a good LBS near North London / Herts / Essex that I could start a relationship with?

Thanks

I can recommend a guy personally, Peter at Notley Cycles. He is really excellent, reasonable rates too.
Regards
Richard

Actually, I'd love a recommendation for West/Central London as well if anyone knows anywhere that's not just a Cycle Surgery or Evans that can be trusted with my pride and joy(s).

Go to Stanley Bridge in Cheshunt. Ask for Ben specifically to do whatever job you need doing - tell him i sent you. Or just do it yourself. What do you need done?
