As above, need to replace bottom bracket on a friends old bike. 135 x 68 square taper. No-one seems to have this size nearest I can find has a 127mm spindle. Anyone got any ideas where to try?

Thats an incredibly long axle length and pretty specialised. What bike is it for?

Bike is an old Viking Targh VX 750. Cranks are Ofmega as far as I can tell and are cotterless. Spindle length is correct at 135.

Buy new cranks. The longest I've ever seen is 127mm.

The only place i think will do that is Phil Woods.

From the book i have in front of me, part number BRS35S. Should in theory be 135x68mm square taper. Just had a quick google, and there pretty damn expensive!!

Cheers,
Josh..

Edit - This is the only place i can find -

If I fit a shorter axle, won't the chainline be out?
