[Closed] help choosing a cheapo rigid fork for SS?

I am converting an old 26" to a SS with rigid forks for use in the winter and commuter. Doing it as cheap as possible. But what forks? Be used for 75% commuting; 25% steady trail-centre trials.

Pipedream Infinity seem excellent at £51 relative to Orange F8 (£49), On-One CroMo(£60), Salsa CroMoto (£80), Surly Instigator (£80).

Any reason not to go for the Pipedream?

And a do keep getting drawn to the eXotic Carbon Cycles (£104) but spending double is against the 'parts bin / bought in sale' ethos of this bike. Are the carbons worth double?

edit: if in is relevant, I weigh 60kg

edit": I want guard mounts, which I dont think the Pipedream has squinting at the photos. Gah

Ive got a pipedream fork. It was the right length. Seems quite twangy, this is probably a good thing?
