[Closed] Headwind!
Out on the SkinnyTubed bike today & the headwind was nasty (but no doubt a good training aid) Anyway I'm 'bombing' along at 14mph cos It's all I could manage, & this truck & drawbar trailer came 'bombing' the other way. Well the draught off him was like hitting a brick wall & I promptly slowed to 8mph!. (ok, for the pedants among you, if I'd hit a brick wall I would've slowed to a prompt standstill, but you get the idea)
Horrible innit?
Hidious. I had a 20 mile commute home last night into a howling gale. Nasty.
It is. I found myself having a full-on shouting match a few rides ago.
The wind won...
Get it in an easy gear and twiddle!
Head down, on the drops, knees in, elbows in, quids in. 8)
I'd rather get rained on than do battle with a headwind
