MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
A friend of mine has one of those integrated headsets (IS?) on his bike (Cane Creek I believe). Seeing as a 1.5 looks like it will fit comfortably in this, is it possible for him to use a tapered or 1.5 fork, with a suitable headset if one actually exists? The reason I ask is that this gives him more choice on what he can purchase.
Ta.
What frame?
Bikes like Giant's that use a "zero stack headsets" will allow the used a of the newer 44mm headsets

If this is the case then yes, he could use a 1.5 or tapered steerer fork.
z1ppy its a felt compulsion 2 (2009). I assume zero stack means no cups visible? Im old school!
Cheers
Some-one may know if it's possible, hence the frame ID request (I don't off-hand). Though it's currently fitted with an integrate headset not a zero stack, I not positive but I don't believe these are inter-changable
But as per the sideways cycle blog link, the only way to know for sure will be to remove the current one & measure it...
ok thanks for the link.
