I'm attempting to fit new brake pads.
The pads are supposed to slot into their housings and to be held in place magnetically.
Trouble is, there doesn't seem to be any magnetic connection on the outer pad (the one away from the wheel).
So, anyone know if I'm doing something stupid here, or if the brake's knackered?

You'll probably find the remnants of the magnet attached to the back of the old pad, if you're lucky you may be able to superglue it back in.
