About a month ago I did a ride on Dartmoor with some long descents. Definitely got the brakes warm.
Came to to use that bike again last night, and the brakes don't have the same bite and are making a horrible squealing/squarking noise when applied.
Are these symptoms of glazing ? Will it ride off if I keep using them?

Could be or could be other things. Take them out and give them a light sand. Look for oil contamination, clean the discs off and stick back together.

I've the same thing after a long, draggy Lakes descent. Didn't know this was a thing. Cheers gents, this will be my new thing learned today. I can close my mind to all other input, phew!
